Verizon Warns Financial Sector on Internet Fight

Verizon are warning the finance industry that net neutrality legislation will be BAD for them. Finance people understand finance language (sometimes), so let's put it like this - believe the telcos and you'll get a situation where a small number of large telcos will exert oligopolistic (and in practive monopolistic) control of the pricing of your data flows. Keep the Net neutral and you can stick whatever smart controllers you like at the ends of the network which are controlled by you.

Meanwhile Google are threatening antitrust lawsuits against the telcos if Congress do hand them a law to print money.
